Project General Information


1. Project title - Creation and functioning on the base of Vasyl Stefanyk PreCarpathian National University Science&Education Centre «Nanomaterials in accumulation and generation of energy devices».

7. Researche object – Development and perfection the technologies of receipt oxide, chalcogenide and carbon nanomaterials for the devices of generation and accumulation of energy, and fundamental study and prognostication of their physical and chemical properties.
8. Main forecast science results -
It is foreseen as a result of implementation the project to set basic regularity of the phenomena of co-intercalation and re-intercalation and also formation of the proper complexes “owner-guest”; to formulate base tendencies in the change of physical properties of crystalline matrices and precondition of introduction them the new phenomena and effects intercalation. In direction of carbon technologies perfection method of hydrothermal treatment will allow to attain stable supposed values of specific surface of nanoporous carbon on the base of raw material of phytogenous at level 850-1300 m2/gr with possibility of purposeful modification of material descriptions (morphologies of surface, porosity) by variation of synthesis conditions. Optimization conditions and modes of receipt and modification of nanoporous carbon is planned on the basis of complex researches of electron-ion transfer processes on boundary division electrode/electrolyte. It will be developed technical documentation on the experimental production of nanoporous carbon for the electrodes of supercondensers from raw material of phytogenous.
9. Project administration. The observant council SEC is included: rector PRNU (chairman), leader of project, assistants of leader in science work, educational work, and international cooperation, leaders of workinggroups of project.
Functions of observant council of SEC: consideration of questions on the financial and technical state of SEC, concordance of curricula of SEC with state educational standards, audit of activity of SEC.
Key moment in SEC activity is attraction for researching young research workers, graduate students (as a rule, except the last year of study) and students.
